life's like movie

the art of traveling is indescribeable
the time for self is an amazing experience
the places that i've visited are simply beautiful
the people that i met are nothing but wonderful

traveling for me has come to a stage of a life performance or an extended version of a 'my' movie
nothing more is needed but me myself and i
i am the director
i am the script writter
i am the camera man
i am the actor
i am the editor
i am the screen

my brain acts as a script writter
my heart acts as a director
my eyes acts as a camera
my memory acts as a screen
and i am the lead actor

i don't know what my life and my traveling is leading me to
but i know for sure it's going to be hell a good one

it's only been a week since i started my trip
i can't really imagine what is going to happen next
but either good or bad times, it will still be an unforgetable experience
once in a life time

England so far..

finally got the chance to update the blog :)

it is quite obvious that i surved from my 25 hours flight from melbourne to london, and it was indeed a pleasant flight.

what have i been up to?
i am currently on a 5 days Haggis Adventure Tour (a.k.a Cornwall Crusaider) today is my 3rd day of the trip, and it has been really good so far.
well let me start from the 2nd day of my trip, since i pretty much passed out on my first day. i was sitting beside an Australian girl from melbourne on my flight to Dubai for transit, we had a bit of chat and ended up meeting up in London on Sunday. we did the massive walk, if you want a reference, go google map and have a look, and u will know how far we walked. we basically walked from London Bridge to Westminister via buckingham Palace. well google map told me it is 1h 15mins walk, it actually took us about 3 hours to get there, since we stopped for stuffs that came along when we were walking.
we covered: London Bridge, Tower Bridge, St. something church, King's College, Twinning Tea first ever store, Big Ben, London Eye, Buckingham Palace. i think we almost covered most of the touristy part of london.

okay, back to the Cornwall Crusaider tour.
first day we visited Stonehenge, it's actually smaller that what i've expected, oh well still amazing. then we went to Salisbury, we did a steep walked up to the Tor, and then to a town called Cheddar, yeap cheddar cheese! spent a night there.

day two, we visited Cheddar Gorge (cave), then lunch up on top of another tor, with amazing view and weather was kinda alright, then we went to new quay where we are staying for 2 nights, it is a beach town, lots of surfers and those 'cool' people, well we went out last night to celebrate Trent's birthday (american). and i got pretty drunk because i didnt have anything for dinner, uh oh!! we went to a pub where they had karaoke night, u get free shot if u sing, so i think almost all of us sang that night. it was rather disturbing, but oh well, we had fun and what not we got free shots.

day three, which is today, the highlight of today for me was visiting St. Ives. AWESOME TOWN it is just simply amazing, look it up on google, cos i don't have a chance to upload my photos yet. sorry!! also we visited a place called land's end, we did a coast walk. it was pretty cool as well.

and tomorrow morning we are going to SURF, we've got free lesson :D
will update it when i get a chance.

anyway i need to apologise for this unstructured blog, cos i am really tired now, about to head to bed. and also I HAVE TO ABORT MY TWOWHEEL.PROJECT because my vespa went missing on my first day in London, sucks hey?? yeah i was really disappointed! but oh well life moves on!

i promise i will update a well written blog and more interesting topic as soon as possible. (also with all the photos)
once again sorry!! :)

twowheel.project

leaving on the jet plane

g'day!

this is probably the last blog before my departure. it's about 48 hours before London.
so here i am introducing you my newest project that i want myself to do during my trip, and it is called twowheel.project. it is basically a photo project, pictures of places that i go with of course the main character 'scooter' well it is a toy not the real scooter. the main idea of this project is i guess to make my trip a memorable one. so if you want to know what it looks like, just stick around and i shall post my first photo of the project shortly after my arrival in london.

time really flies, it's been 2 weeks since i finished my last exam, and i don't think i've done anything except catching up with friends. You know what's funny? i've received 4 different notebooks from different groups of friends, i guess i have to write when im traveling so im not wasting any of the notebooks. :P
also i have been getting so many questions about how i feel about my trip. honestly speaking i don't know yet, maybe i will figure it out in the next 24 hours? or few hours before i leave? well whatever it is i god hope it'd be a good one.

and just for your information i have yet to pack and in addition to that, ash clouds from Chilli has been playing up in australia, thou airport is now open, i still hope the clouds can go as far as possible as long as it is not blocking my way. besides that i am all good and set to go.

p.s: thanks for reading this blog, it actually keeps me motivated and pumped in writing it, and i shall update my next blog and introduce the first photo of twowheel.project hopefully in few days time or maybe a week.

rainy night,

behind the scene

preparation is the key of the trip

going for a trip is not as easy as 1 2 3, well at least not for me
for those that know where i actually from, and what kind of passport i'm holding, you will probably know my pain, but for those who doesn't, a word that can perfectly describe the process is '..' well i think one word is not enough to describe my anger and frustration.

for the trips that i've planned, i need 4 visas; English visa, Irish Visa, Schengen visa, and Egypt visa. so far i've got 3 of them and now i am waiting for the last and the most important one Schengen visa. it took me about 2 weeks to get my English visa approved, it took me one week to get my Egypt visa approved, and it took about 2 months for my Irish visa to be approved. I hope i can get the schengen visa in 2 weeks time.

i am applying my schengen visa from Germany Embassy, because i was shut by Italy embassy, they basically told me that i am not eligible to apply the visa from melbourne, because i am not returning here.

it is actually a long story that i can probably publish it as a book, so i will just write the shorter version.
- to apply for any visas, first u need to make an appointment with the embassy/consulate

- i missed my first appointment with german embassy, it was on the 5th of May, and the next available appointment was on the 6th of June, so i gave up with german embassy, and i called up Greece embassy, Netherlands embassy, both of them told me the next available appointment is not until end of June. so i tried Italy embassy, and i found an appointment available on the 30th May, so i made the appointment (p.s: most of the europe embassy is able to issue a Schengen visa, Schengen visa is basically a visa that i need to travel in most of the europe countries)

- while waiting for the date, i accidentally made an appointment with german embassy on the 6th of June, and also i changed my plan, i added egypt to my trip, so i went to apply for the visa, and surprisingly it was the easiest visa i ever applied.

-on the 30th, i went to italy embassy, they told me i can't apply here, so basically i was rejected by them, and the lady told me to go back to indonesia to apply for it and asked me to change my travel dates, i was devastated, i called the travel agent to check a flight to indonesia for me, and i called the embassy in indonesia, and i actually planned to fly home on the 7th of June, after my last paper.

-i went back to the library, tried to study, but i was so distracted, so i called up german embassy, i told them my situation and the lady on the phone told me it is fine for me to apply my europe visa there, and i remembered i actually made an appointment there. so im back on track again. BUT i had exam on the 6th!! and it is in the morning, it clashes with my german appointment. i emailed my lecture, told her my situation, and FORTUNATELY my lecture allowed me to sit the exam at 11am instead of 9am that day (it was in class exam btw). so again im back on track

-on the 6th, i went to the embassy nice and early, brought with me all the documents that are needed, well the lady wasn't friendly at all, she was rude and annoying, she told me she needs the recent bank statement, which i didnt have it with me at that time, and she told me she has another problem (after she looked at my student visa) she said THEY CAN'T ISSUE THE VISA because i don't have valid visa to return to australia after my trip (it is the same reason used by Italy embassy) because according to the website, applicants have to have a valid visa to re-entry the country after the trip, and my visa expired in september. but i told her im going to egypt after, and she asked me where's my egypt visa, and it is actually in my passport that she was holding. so after long explanation, she asked me what am i going to do in egypt for 3 months, and do i have the proof, and i said yes i do, but i didnt bring it with me because i think it is unnecessary. basically she asked me to fax her my recent bank statement and the proof of stay in egypt and also my full itinerary for my europe trip! i managed to pull everything out yesterday. so all i can hope for now is to get my passport back before the 25th of June.

(it is not so short after all, i apologise)

i am now physically and mentally tired because of all this bullshit! i just want to get away and starts my adventure.

fingers crossed

Journey

It takes one thought, followed by one step, to begin your unique journey.

I am going to embark in the journey that will probably help me in finding out who i really am.
It will be the journey of a life time and a beginning of a new chapter in my life.
It is a journey that i can't predict what is coming up and what things i will be exposed to.
am i excited? if i said no, it would be a lie. i am excited and at the same time i am terrified.

i am terrified because it will be only me and myself
i am terrified because i will be leaving my comfort zone
i am terrified because i don't know what is going to happen

but i am ready,
i am ready to get away
i am ready to explore
i am ready to adapt
i am ready to do what it takes to overcome the fears

let's do it
